Just installed Cubase 9.0.1. Running on Mac Pro, OS 10.12.2, 64 GB ram. Program opens fine on it’s own, but when I try to open my large orchestral template, it crashes before it can open. The template worked flawlessly on same machine in Cubase 8.5.2. Submitted request for tech support to Steinberg, but thought maybe someone here may have an idea. I’ve attached a screen shot of the first part of the crash dump in case that helps. Any thoughts or suggestions? Many thanks.
This looks like something that’s best dealt with by Steinberg as they can take the full crash dump into account.
In case this helps someone else - turns out it was Altiverb 7 causing the problem. The new plug-in manager blacklisted it. Updated Altiverb 7 to the latest version (7.2.9) and then reactivated it. Now my large orch template loads just fine and everything appears to be working smoothly. Hurray!
