Cubase 9.5.10 Crash when Enabling Instrument Track

Hi,
Sometimes when I enable an instrument track that has been disabled, Cubase crashes and I get the following error:

“A Serious problem has occured: Please try to save your project under another name…”

It doesn’t happen all the time every time I enable an instrument track, only sometimes. Each time it has happened thoughKontakt has been the instrument used on the track.

I have a crash dmp file but the forum won’t let me attach it, says it’s an invalid extension.

PC
Windows 10 Version 1709

Same thing happens to me. I get a huge cpu spike when i enable some tracks which causes it to crash. 9.5 is very unstable and can’t handle big projects like my previous Cubase 8.5 can.

Hi,

This should be fixed in Cubase 9.0.40, which has been released recently. And it should be fixed in the upcoming Cubase 9.5 update too. If not, come back after the update, and share the crashlog, please.
