Cubase 9.5.3 and flac files

Hello!
Cubase crashes when I try to import FLAC files. It doesn’t matter if I try to drag the file to the project or import it through the file menu.

How do you import it? Via menu? Or drag and drop from Finder/Explorer or drag and drop from MediaBay, or…? Where do you import it? To the project window? To the Sampler Track? To the Pool?

Could you share the crash dump, please?

Hi!
I do it two ways:

  1. drag and drop to the project window (actually I’ve never drop it because the program shuts down when the mouse with a file appears over the project window)
    2.via menu
    Both ways lead to the immediate crash of the program.

This should be fixed with Cubase 9.5.40 now.
