So I recently purchased Cubase 9.5 Artist (Educational), I was able to register it on steinberg website and it did give me an activation code, whenever I attempt to use the activation code in the ELicenser Control Center it says that I need a USB dongle even though its a soft license.
I really don’t know how to fix this.
Any help is appreciated.

A few Steinberg products still require an USB-eLicenser hardware dongle to work, including Cubase Artist 9.5 and the educational version of it.

I want to retry this topic, since i am fighting with this issue.
I have a same trouble imran209. I am upgrading Cubase Elements 8 to 9.5.
And as You know Elements version of Cubase do not need Additional USB-eLicenser required.
So where is the trouble? Need help, I’m fighting all day with Cubase. It never failed to me and now is everything wrong
