Crashes consistently in the middle of playback (at different points of the project) for the demo project. This is a clean install on OS X 10.13.1 on a top of the line iMac.
This may in part be due to your operating system:-

Although, having said that, I see posts from other folk using 10.13.1 quite happily.
Can only suggest trying again once a maintenance update (officially supporting High Sierra) is out - should be only a few weeks away from now.
