good morning I’m trying to access your download page because I would like to install Cubase Ai 13 on the second Macbook too…it doesn’t even let me access the dedicated drivers page, it tells me error access not permitted…are you doing maintenance work on your site by any chance? COULD YOU TELL ME IF IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO INSTALL CUBASE Ai 13 ON THE MACBOOK PRO RETINA 15? Or is the operating system of this Macbook too old?

I HAVE TWO MACBOOKS but it seems that they prevent me from being able to install it also in the macbook pro retina 15 with Monterey, it gives me an error when accessing my steinberg, and also copying my Cubase 8 from PC to PC which was recently updated to Cubase 13ai…what should I do? thanks for answering me

Hi,

macOS 12 (Monterey) is fully compatible with Cubase 13. There should not be any problem.

What kind of error exactly do you get? You need to Sing In to be able to activate your license.

You don’t need Cubase 8 installed anymore on the other computer.

please I have installed Cubase 13 ai on the macbook 14 I would also like to install it on the macbook pro retina 15 with Monterey…the my steinberg page does not open correctly it seems that there are limitations and often it tells me that I do not have permission even though I am logged in

You can do so. You can install Cubase 13 on up to 3 computers.

What exactly do you get? What kind of error?

There is no limit, on how many computers you can sign in.

What kind of message exactly do you get, please?

I can only access the site on the Mac where Cubase 13 AI is installed. If I access My Steinberg with my Macbook 15 it doesn’t even let me download the license, nor does the manager. Maybe there’s a procedure to follow to unlock the download on the second Macbook too?

Hi,

To me it looks like you have some security setting, which doesn’t allow to reach the Steinberg servers. Any Firewall or Antivirus running on the 15" Mac?

any firewall activated in macbook 15…in any case i have downloaded it and installed it finally but it crasched starting immediatly

Hi,

Attach the *.ips file, please.

Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).

I was able to install cubase 13 ai on the macbook pro 15 as well, I just didn’t install the components that were giving me problems. It is now running smoothly for the time being, and I thank you for your help. Thank you very much
