I got cubase ai 5 two years ago with my yamaha DTX drum pad and i had used it for my gigs.
(I also have cubase pro 8 but ai version is quite handy for small gigs because no usb elicenser is needeed.)
After 1 years of no-gig break, I re-opened cubase ai 5 for upcoming gig prep to find out it is expired.
Strange… I thought the license was permanent.
I tried ‘validate license usage period’ in ecc, but it did nothing.
‘Reactivation’ in MySteinberg didn’t help either, because it only works when you buy new computer or new os. (it requires new soft eLicenser serial)
