I’m currently using Cubase AI 7, but have just been sent a discount voucher for AI 8. Is it worth the upgrade? I can’t find any info on the differences between the two.
I’m not the type to constantly upgrade if I don’t need to, so will happily stick to AI 7 if there’s no good need to change. Thanks

I would recommend you the upgrade, if you want to jse the latest OS, i.e. Win10 or Mac OS X 10.11.
Thanks for your response. I’ve no intention of upgrading from Win 7 just yet. Do you know what the differences are between the two software packages? Or is it just OS compatibility? (AI7 is supported on Windows 10 anyway)

I would say there will be a new Plug-in manager (I expect, this is also part of OEM derivatives). There is a new ASIO Guard system for better Performance, and optimised Performance in general. And if I’m right also Direct MP3 export. Other news are in higher derivatives only, I would say.
