Cubase AI 9.5 refuses to install...

It displays the preparing to Install box…the progress bar proceeds to 100%, and then…nothing it just closes! I have tried three different downloads, removing the Yammie USB driver, updated the nVidia graphics driver, run the installer in admin mode, nothing works…

Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

Let’s try to start some assist here…

You say you downloaded several times but to me… it sounds like you don’t have the full file…

  • Are you installing using the Steinberg Download Assistant which is sized at 100mb (105,153,432 bytes)?
  • Is this an upgrade or full install?
  • Are you installing to a different drive… (a long shot but…)?

Maybe someone knows what the exact file size for the CB AI 9.5 file is so that you can check yours.
