Cubase and Akai mpkminiplus

Hi everyone.
I finally bought a midi keyboard to be able to use the quick controls and to have some fun overall. Now i can’t control the quick controls in any other way then absolute minimum or absolute maximum. There is no way to go gently from 0 to max. It must be some very simple solution but I haven’t managed to find it…can anyone please help a technologically blind middle aged man, please?

Hi,
if you search the forum for “MPK Mini Plus” you get quite a few results. Just remember to leave blank spaces in between the words. I accidentally posted my answer in a thread that I linked below, so you will find one somehwere on top these days, too.

You can also create your own Remote Script with the Assistant in Cubase, it is actually not very complicated. Here is a tutorial to get you started:

There is also a shortcut to get what you want. Since Cubase does not offer a Remote Script for the MPK Mini Plus you could also download one that was made from another user in this forum, for example here:

@m.c I did it! Although I couldn’t see the response in Cubase’s MIDI Monitor even after disabling the filter, I was able to capture it with another MIDI Monitor! @djdude So, I have updated the script. It now identifies by the Product ID, so it should work on both Mac and Windows regardless of the MIDI port name.
