Cubase and Yamaha MG series mixers

Would it be possible for me to use cubase and the Yamaha MG10uf mixer in the following way:

  1. Import sound waves into cubase with each sound wave on a different channel.
  2. Adjust the characteristics of each individual sound (gain, tone, etc) using the Yamaha mixer controls.
  3. Mix or blend the sounds together using faders on Yamaha mixer.

As I understand your question, you would like to use the MG series mixer as Cubase DAW Control. Sorry, this is not possible. MG mix doesn’t send any (MIDI) data (of the controls position) to Cubase.
