Cubase Artist 10.5 randomly launches instead of Cubase Pro 10.5

I’m on Mac, Catalina, 10.15.4, latest Cubase Pro 10.15.12. I have a full, purchased for Cubase Pro 10.5 license on my eLicenser.

Randomly, maybe about 20% of times I go to launch Cubase (from the Applications > Cubase 10.5.app), Cubase Artist 10.5.12 is the version that launches. In every case this happens, if I exit Artist and launch the app again, it will then correctly launch Cubase Pro 10.5.12.

No harm caused, but very annoying! Is this happening to anyone else?

Any way to stop this from happening?

Older dongle? I purchased a new eLicenser, and my launch errors disappeared. Faster launches also.

Not a bad idea Barryjam - my dongle is a pretty old one, and I do still get a number of false errors when launching Cubase in general. Maybe I’ll spring for a new one. Thanks
