Cubase cannot find license every time I reboot

Every time I reboot my computer, I have to go through this process:

  1. Start Cubase, which fails as the license cannot be found.
  2. Start eLicenser Control Center which fails to find the license
  3. Stop the eLicenser process
  4. Reinstall eLicenser
  5. Perform maintenance checks
  6. Start Cubase

This takes ~10 minutes every day.
Things I’ve tried:

  1. Getting the latest eLicenser (6.12.8.3312)
  2. Running eLicenser as administrator
  3. Perform maintenance tasks multiple times.

My spec:
Cubase Elements 10
eLicenser 6.12.8.3312
Windows 11 Home
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Audio card: RME Fireface 400 via Firewire

Any suggestions on how to make the license persist on my machine? This is a new behavior. Previously I didn’t have any issues with it.

Hi,

Try to uninstall eLCC and install it as administrator, please.

Thank you @Martin.Jirsak. This was fine for a while. Now I have license issues again.
eLicenser (not as administrator) fails on maintenance tasks, asking me to run as administrator.
When running as administrator, I get this message:

Application “LCC2” has caused the following error:
Process with ID NOT found

Options:
Click to abort.

Any suggestions on how to go around this? I cannot use Cubase.

Regards,
Omri
