I findout that Cubase channel strip and eq loads in memory even if you not use them.
more channel you use in project, more memory will use for nothing.
you can try yourself just move file Cubase plug-in set.vst3 (in Cubase/vst3 folder) somewhere and compare.
and its much more stable without this file! personally I don’t need Cubase plugins , there is nothin special in them and lots of good vsts is out there, aswell as samplers. only you will have plugins missing warning on project startup as it trying to load this crap in every channel.
don’t create a projects from templates, manually add tracks/etc then there is nothing loaded
