I don’t know why, but Cubase crashed when I got a calendar notification while building my template. It had me send from data to Steinberg, and now none of my Midi signal reaches the channels. The main meter is showing signal, and the VSTI plugin is showing Midi on the correct channel. But, nothing is reaching the channel to record the note or generate sound.
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Are you talking about a MIDI- or an Instrument Tracks? What kind of Instrument do you use?
Do I understand it right, if you hit Record, you can see the meters, but you don’t hear any sound and the MIDI Part is not create?
Good Morning,
That is correct. All of the affected tracks are instrument tracks. The VSTIs are generated from Musio’s suite of sampled instrumentation. The Musio player and the signal meter in the lower right hand corner of Cubase both show receipt of MIDI signal, but nothin carries over to the track itself.
Hi,
How do you know, the Musio player receives MIDI data, please?
When the player receives data. The corresponding MIDI icon on the player illuminates indicating what channel the data is being received on. That data is being routing through Cubase’s articulation/expression manager, and channel changes are reflected in the player as well.
Hi,
Could you make a video, please?
