Cubase crashes constantly on startup (Windows 11)

Recently, my Cubase 13 Elements has started crashing frequently at startup and sometimes during work. Could this be related to the fact that I use sleep mode in Windows?

Do you ever reboot windows? I always reboot and I disable fast start.

Yes, I have rebooted the system and I always have the fast start disabled.

Hi,
can you attach some dmp files, please?

Of course, I’ll need some time.

Here.

Cubase LE AI Elements 13.0.55 64bit2025.7.9 22.16.41.155.zip (292 байта)

The file is zero bytes…do you have any others…or can you retry zipping this one if it’s not zero bytes before zipping.

Hmm, but this dump was created by Cubase for me when it crashed.

Well either it didn’t get fully created or it got corrupted during zipping.

Well, I deleted the dump after archiving, now I have to wait again until Cubase crash. :frowning:

Hi! I’m trying to attach the dump file again. Cubase crashed again during work.

This crash dump is valid but it only points to Cubase as far as my limited knowledge can tell…Maybe @Martin.Jirsak can take a look and pass on to Steinberg if necessary.

Thanks! I just do not know if it could be related to Windows sleep mode. I’ve never had this before.

Hibernate on windows can disconnect audio driver and I always completely disable it but it does seem to work for some people. I don’t think it would cause frequent crash at startup…but why not disable it for a while and see if the crashing continues?

Well, that’s all I have to do.
