I use Cubase Pro 10.5 and I am working on a project. So far I have only one track. It is through groove agent and I programmed the drums manually in the drum editor. As soon as I start playback, the application freezes up and I can only go through task manager (Dell XPS, Windows 11) to get out of Cubase. I then try to load the project and play it again and the cycle starts over. I closed unwanted programs to free up CPU/RAM and I can play any of several other projects that have not only a drum sequence that I composed through groove agent but also walls of guitars, bass, vocals and synth instruments… NO issues at all with those. what am I doing wrong?
Something similar is happening to me as well, it’s unbelievable, still can’t figure out why yet
In my case, the problem is with Groove Agent SE, the full version is ok. Specify if you have the issue with SE or full version
Try this: open a new empty project and with the import “track archive” function import the Groove Agent track. That maybe will NOT solve the problem but will give more clues.
Also, post here the crash dump file
It’s SE. hmmm. Where do I find this crash dump file that you speak of?
And I am trying the empty project and import GA SE now
did not work and did not give any insight as to why it is happening… yuck
