At last!
I’ve always maintained that the incompatibility between full, studio and essentials was insane … it has driven people to other products. I and many others bought both full and essential or studio version so we could have the “lite” one on a laptop, only to find we couldn’t even exchange MIDI-only projects between the two. Thanks for listening, Steinberg! I’m also sure there are lots of music schools and students out there who’ll appreciate this decision.
Let’s hope there’s a Cubase Elements 6 later in the year for my laptop!
