I am thinking of buying a DAW controller and am doubting between the Nektar CS12 and the Behringer X-touch.
Which is better suited for use with Cubase ?
Or do you have a better proposal in this pricerange of <500euro ?
Best regards from Belgium !
Yves
Without have tested the nektar.
The behringer is based on the MCU protocol. It will work for many different tasks and will not need any magic software that and will bring a early end-of-life for the CS12 if it looks more fun. Some years ago i bought a nektar panorama p1 and that was crap. Very plastic and did not work well. CS12 looks a lot better on pictures but I do not think it is a quality product. (And it is on the lower side on price too).
Hi,
Here you can find a long thready about the very new CS12 MIDI Remote integration. And it looks very nice!
I bought the CS12 and am very satisfied with it.
I have no experience with the X-Touch though.
I recommend the YouTube video linked in the first post of the linked Forum topic.
The Nektar…The best Cubase integration out there.
I remember purchasing my P6. It was then that I realised what “deep DAW integration” means. I highly respect NektarTech.
