Every time I attempt to record something using the Retrologue plugin, it deletes the track as soon as I finish recording. It doesn’t do this for anything else and I’ve restarted Cubase 3 times now. How can I get it to stop deleting the track as soon as it’s done recording?
Hi,
Does it delete the track, or the MIDI Part? Can you see the MIDI Notes are drawn while record?
If there is no MIDI data in the MIDI Part, while recording, the MIDI Part becomes deleted, once you Stop.
It was deleting the MIDI part. I have just tried using a MIDI keyboard instead of clicking the notes with a mouse and that seems to work fine. Thank you!
If you clicked the keyboard of Retrologue, then those clicks don’t get recorded as notes onto the track. The keyboard is just for previewing sounds, not for recording.
Since Cubase deletes an empty MIDI part in case nothing was recorded into it your parts got deleted.
