Cubase does not complete the export

Good evening everyone,

For a while now, I’ve been encountering the following issue with Cubase 10.5 during export:

When I export and listen to the WAV file, the track cuts off at some point—not abruptly, but at the end of the measure along with the reverb tail.

It’s as if I pressed stop during playback… so it cuts off smoothly. It doesn’t always happen, but it happens often enough to be both annoying and, of course, concerning. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas?

Do you use any plug-in in the Demo/Trial mode by any chance?

No…all plugins are fully registered

Do you remember any change when this happened for the first time? Any update (Windows) maybe a hidden one?

Unfortunately, I didn’t notice something like this. Could it be due to some update?
I also suspect that the sound card might be responsible… it’s quite old… a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 1st gen… the buffer I’m using is set at 256
