I have a little problem where Cubase 12 does not load and crashes most of the time when I want to open. Sometimes I have to reboot my computer, sometimes I have to reopen Cubase after closing with task manager. I upgraded from 10.5 to 12 and now this problem is there. Is there anybody who could give me some advise how to fix this error?
Have you tried starting “safe mode” yet?
I have started on safe mode too. But when I reopen this happens over and over again.

This is known issue in Windows and the old WDM MIDI Driver. Please switch to the WinRT MIDI Driver in Studio > Studio Setup.
Yes I did that and now itg is ok. But there are other issues. Shall post again soon.

Although I can’t help you with the crashes, I would recommend you update your Windows to the latest version. Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your GFX card as well as audio interface and check if your BIOS is running the latest version.

These are 2 different cases and also crashes (actually one is not a crash, it’s a freeze).
What did you do before, please? Can you reproduce it?
Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
Could you try to reinstall Cubase? Make sure you install it as administrator, please.
