Thanks - I hadn’t noticed that. My understanding was that all 4 ports on the Dell XPS were Thunderbolt 4, but I’m not sure how that relates to USB 2 and USB 3.1.

These ports are basically both technologies at the same time. In short, it depends on the type of device connected to the port if it uses Thunderbolt or USB as the transport technology.
