I would just like to check this before I buy Cubase. Is it possible to download and use any of the older versions of Cubase with the licence for Cubase Pro 12? I can see them all in the download manager but since I’m on trial I’m sure they will all work. But once my trial is over, what then?
I understand there is now this new licencing system and previously there were dongles. So I’d just like to be clear about this “downgrading” and not have any surprises later. If I buy Cubase Pro 12 and would like for some strange reason use an older version instead, is it possible or not? And if it is can it be done without the dongle?
