Anyone got any ideas why this isnt working for me?
I can drag the sample to the pads and that works fine.

I am having the same issue. Any audio drag n drop with cubase from sequencer or pool will not work, But it will drag from the media bay and or external from file browser…or whatever. Well at least we know that limitation right now. Or we are missing something.
I’ve seen it work for other people on Mac - I was wondering if there’s a security permissions issue or similar.
I have enabled everything that’s seems relevant in the Mac’s security prefs though.
I’ve got another issue that I wonder if is related which started happening with c13 I think. Where if I have another app open such as splice - and I’m trying to drag a sample over to cubase - the keystroke that controls whether Cubases screen moves horizontally or vertically doesn’t work until I bring cubase to the front again.
Is it possible that you’re trying to drag a audio part (a clip container with sample inside), not an audio event (a sample)?

I get the same behavior on Cubase Pro 14.0.10 on Windows 10. I also tried adding the “Sample” instrument to the layer. No change.
However, if I drag the sample to the pad itself it works.
