Cubase Elements 11 for radio show/podcast?

Hi, I’m a newbie to DAW language and community. I bought Cubase to make a radio show and/or podcast. I’m really struggling to figure out how to start. Even the most basic Cubase YouTube tutorial is way over my head and focused on music production. I have Cubase and a Rode mic, that’s it. And music files to put in my show!

Does anyone know video tutorials for this purpose or has experience with it?

Also I am using High Sierra 10.13.6. Am I going to have problems using Cubase 11? I am not a very tech savvy person so the threads I’ve read on High Sierra problems have me concerned.

While it is absolutely possible to use Cubase to create podcasts, there is a specific product called WaveLab Cast designed for just that purpose. You can download a trial version for free and see if that works better for you, however, regardless of the software you use, there will be a learning curve involved.

I can’t advise on Mac but perhaps there’s a simpler solution for somone who’s just beginning, as you describe yourself. There are many Mac users here so I’m sure someone will be along shortly!
