Cubase Elements 14 missing Drum Machine and Pattern Editor

I’ve installed Cubase Elements 14 but am missing the Drum Machine tab in the lower panel. I can see the Drum machine files in Explorer but they don’t seem to have installed. How do i get them into the program?

It’s only included in Artist & Pro

You think you don’t need the features of Pro. And then you do.
This is why, as a hobbyist, I went for the Pro version. Do it it in steps, and wait for the sales to get it half price. Put yourself on the mailing list so you won’t miss it.

The reason you might see these things in Explorer is because all versions of Cubase use the exact same installer. It’s your license that determines which features you will see available. You can even see that happening if you look at the splash screen. After it checks your license, it changes to the splash screen of your version of Cubase.

Thanks for the tip @Googly_Shakespeare. I recently added Cubase because the instrument quality in Halion is so good but looks like I’ll need to keep mixing in Ableton for a while. Cheers Rob
