I bought Elements 8 and noticed there is a folder in the installation download called Additional Content. There is also a subfolder there as well called VST Sound that is almost 3GB. Is this all installed with the default install or do I have to install some of it manually?
It is all installed with the main installer. It is the content for HALion Sonic SE, Groove Agent SE, Padshop, Retrologue, etc.
That is strange because the Additional Content folder is larger than the total install size for Elements 8.
The content is not installed in the Cubase folder
I checked my free space before and after because it’s on an SSD drive so I am very concerned about drive space.
If you are concerned that the additional content did not get installed, you can go into the folders and double-click the .msi files and it should run the individual installers.
