Hi, I have received the email from Steinberg re the new Licensing. Does this mean in 2025 I can no longer use my product? As there is no redeem voucher in the Products Tab? Thanks, Dan.

You’ll still be able to use Cubase Elements 8 as long as your USB- or Soft-eLicenser works but you can no longer update or upgrade your license to a recent one. It won’t be possible to move the license to a different eLicenser either.
Since old Cubase versions are not migrated to the new licensing system, you’d need to buy an update before the shutdown in 2025 if you want to keep an updatable license.

Yes, it will just keep working. The functionality of the old version is not directly affected.
If you want to use a newer Cubase Elements after the shutdown, you need to buy a new version because updating is no longer possible. Therefore, I think, it’s worth considering updating before 2025. However, you can still wait a couple of months. Maybe there will be a Cubase sale sometime later this year where you can save some money.
