Cubase Elements 9 doesn't seem to read my sound driver

Hello,

So when loading up Cubase, It doesn’t seem to find my sound driver (which should be the standard audio driver). Naturally I tried to manually apply the sound driver by going into device setup then VST Audio System. It then reads “no driver” under the AISO Drivers tab and I don’t seem to see any other options. I then tried to go to device properties of my sound driver and made sure the “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” box was checked and it was. Anyone know what I could be doing?

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

So we can try to assist please explain a bit more about what audio interface you are trying to connect. And why you are using “the standard audio driver” (whatever that is?) instead of the ASIO driver that came with your audio hardware or another ASIO driver like the ASIO4ALL universal one.
