I’ve been trying to get my new MODX configured on Elements 9.5 and I just can’t seem to get midi data to echo back to the keyboard while playing. Activity is registering in the track and recording. And the keyboard makes sounds when playing the track back. But - it is silent when I play (and local control is off).
All of the tutorials I’ve read and watched on video indicates that local control should be turned off and Cubase should echo back the midi data when I play.
INPUT is set to All MIDI Inputs
MIDI OUTPUT is set to my MODX PORT 1
The MIDI OUT CHANNEL is set to “Any”
Cubase is clearly receiving the data from the MODX. It’s just not echoing it back.
Any help you can provide would be extremely appreciated.
