I teach sequencing to a student, and his parents bought a brand new PC and it runs Cubase Elements just fine, but we can’t use any editing shortcuts. Only Command S to save. Command C doesn’t copy, Command V doesn’t paste, etc. Seems like a simple fix maybe somewhere, but I don’t want to eat into valuable lesson time doing basic tech support. Anyone have suggestions I can offer next time I go over there?
Confirm that the Virtual Keyboard in the transport panel is not visible.
