Cubase Essential 5 & CI2+ doesn't run with W.media player

Hi,

ISince I work with windows 8 on my new computer, I’m having trouble with playing normal MP3’s on my windows media player. When I put out my CI2+ soundcard of the computer and restart my pc is works just fine. When I put in de CI2+ again, the player says it doesn’t run the song because of a wrong format.
Is there anyone experiencing the same trouble? How can I solve this? All of mine outputs are correct installed.
I allready tried releasing my VST stuff… I’m out of ideas, anyone can help me?

Do you mean projects, you exported from Cubase?

Windows Media Player doesn’t support 24-bit depth of WAV file, for instance. So I wouldn’t be surprised, if only very basic settings has to be done for MP3 export. Make sure, the Export Audio Mixdown settings is the same with- and without the CI2+.
