Problem with Steinberg UR24C, Tried everything for the past 3 days solid, tearing my hair out. Installed other interface [Lexicon] no problems. Tried other daws no problems. Intel(R) Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz WINDOWS 10 Thanks for your help
I guess you have a dmp file when Cubase freezes. Please upload one of these files here.
The failure is in the Windows audio driver wdmaud.drv. You can try to switch to the WinRT MIDI Interface by going to Studio->Studio Setup and click on the checkbox

Also, if that doesn’t work, try unchecking the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth midi port.

Your problem seems to be with the Windows Audio driver wdmaud.drv. Try enabling WinRT MIDI and see if that helps.
