Cubase iC Pro is unusable here with Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+

I have a flickering screen here and graphics that look like 8 bit tetras here. Yes I have installed an uninstalled 10 times here, change screen zoom and font sizes on the tablet, no luck. Completely unusable here

I know it is the app as Studio One remote app works fine on it, Avid Control using Econ works fine with Cubase and Logic.

Any ideas? To me it’s like the drivers Cubase icPro need for video are not there in its app to work on the Samsung tablet. I have ZERO issue with this tablet other than this one.

Interesting, I have the same device and see the same Problem.
I’ve ignored it for a while because I don’t need it urgently, but it is obviously not just My devices.
I’ve added the issue tag here, to mark this as a problem report.

Ive learned my lesson here, never buy a controller unit or app from Steinberg. I should have know better after my CC121 issue

I dont count on this getting fixed as they never update this app it appears. Im just out the money

I don’t believe this is a pure Steinberg problem, so Just blaming Steinberg is the wrong.

I have another tablet, from Huawei, and that works Like a charm. So the device and the Android Version has a big impact in this.

That is the reason why so many users pefer iPads, iOS is always iOS.

Hi @shanabit

We are sorry to read about your issue.

I’ve just checked Cubase iC Pro on a Samsung Tablet S6 where the graphical issue does not appear. Will exchange with our engineering to check, if they are able to reproduce the problem.

Please let us know which Android OS you have installed on your device.

Best,
Lars

My device has Android 14 und Samsung One UI 6.1

I have a Samsung Tablet S6 Lite and it is fine BTW

Samsung TAB S9 FE+ is the issue with Cubase icPro App.
Model = SM-X610
One UI= 6.1.1, Android version= 14

This needs repeating me thinks

I know it is the app as Studio One remote app works fine on it, Avid Control using Econ works fine with Cubase and Logic

Hi @shanabit

Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce the issue unchanged.

But since there seem to be issues when using the particular device nevertheless, we’ve taken out the app support for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series devices in Google Play (until we’re able to reproduce and/or resolve the issue).

Best,
Lars

So this is Steinbergs resolution? Nice
