Cubase in/out question and quit unexpectedly issue

Hello all!

I’ve been using cubase 14, and very much enjoying as immigrants from studio one :wink:

(since ver13).

but this one thing is bug me every time.

Mac OS Sequoia

Cubase 14 up to date

M2 Mac book pro max 64gb

plugins up to date

since I work at home a lot with built in core audio or motu device (or Arturia),

whenever I bring my laptop to my studio and connect to Cranborne 500R8 interface,

it forgets device.

I made a preset for 16i/o for Cranborne system and set everything up but when I bring laptop home and just work with built in audio, and next day I bring laptop again and cubase forgets 500R8’s I/o. preset shows I/o’s but it forgets device so I have to manually reconnect them every time.

Any idea on how to fix this ?

also one more question!

when I quit cubase 14 most of the time it shows error msg says “ unexpectedly quit”

but it doesn’t affect anything so I let it go, but still bugs me.

The crash happens in StripControlPI_VST_AU_Protect. Pokud se nepletu, jde o problém v Softube, často spojené s Console 1.

okay, console 1 software are up to date. do you think should I report this to Softube too?
