Hello.
My Cubase keeps crashing during playback (shuts down no Error code or anything) when I:
a) import a file
b) duplicate a track
I tried to isolate which plugins maybe is the problem but couldn’t really figure it out and I don’t think that this is the problem since it also happens when I bypass all insert effects. This project is quiet big and when I create a new one and import, copy etc. like crazy Cubase stays up, but with this project I can hardly do two edits before it crashes again. I have to work with big projects professionally and can’t spare the time to reload the project every other minute.
My setup:
Windows 10 - Intel Core i7 8700 (3.20 GHz)
64 Bit
16 GB Ram
Cubase 10.0.50 Build 301
Project 48000 kHz
32bit float
Used plugins:
Fab Filter 3.0
Waves VEQ 4
Waves LL3 Multiband
Waves H-Comp
Waves Z-noise
RX-DeEsser
and built in Plugins like Studio EQ etc. by Cubase
I use Voicemeeter but I made sure that all Virtual Asios match the projects samplerate etc. and I switched to the generic low latency driver as well and when I start duplicating more tracks during playback, it happens again. Funny thing is that I can work just fine on my far inferior Laptop Win 8.1, 8 GB Ram etc.) with the same project AND Voicemeeter, so basically the same but far weaker setup.
Attached you can find the last three crash files (only from today, I think from this project but also from another one that keeps crashing)
I hope someone can help me out here.
