Cubase Key Commands (user presets) Deleted

Hi everyone.
I had this interesting issue, hope someone could help me on this.

  • While working on a Project, Cubase has crashed following an import process. (.mp3 file)
It has occured 3 times, I have no idea why this happenned. But, this is not the issue.
Fortunetly, I had saved the project before these crashes.

When I re-open the project, I have realized that some key commands (that have been created by me, not the default ones) have been dissappeared.
All the user created key commands were unable to use.

Does anyone had an issue like this? What is it about?

  • I wanted to learn how could I save “Key Commands” just in case of a similar problem. But I could not find any “Save” option in the Key Commands page.

Is it possible to save and import a Key Command list in the future?
How does it work?

Thanks in advance.

You can resize that dialog downwards and to the right, or both. That’s were the presets are!

I save every now and then with nothing but the date of the day. Works for me.

Oohhh, I wish I have known that a few hours earlier
Thank you!

I have tried to save my custom key commands but when I save (store) it, I can not find it in the corresponding file. ( I assume the file’s path is “Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 11\Presets\KeyCommands” )
Where will I find the saved .xml file?
How will I be able to restore/load that xml file?

I got it.

The path is:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 11_64\Presets\KeyCommands

Thanks.
