Cubase language half englisch, half german?!

Hey there,
just got my hands on cubase 14 and Nuendo 14. My pc language is set to German, but I usually keep all my applications in englisch, since it’s easier to follow tutorials (which are mostly englisch). I changed the language to Englisch under Settings>General>Language, but now the program is using both languages somehow. It’s mainly englisch, but I frequently still find lot’s of German words, especially in the menus.

Please help. I know it’s not a big thing, but I’m making tutorials and course myself and I think it’s pretty confusing for viewers.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Could you provide an example, please? Which items exactly are in German, please? Are these presets by any chance?

Yes, what @Martin.Jirsak said - examples please.

However, there are translations which can be misleading - be it from German to English or the other way round. Moreover, there are a few leftovers both ways - if I am not mistaken they mostly reside within key commands and some presets. No biggies so I don’t recall.

Changing the language post installation can cause some troubles, I have been there myself. Can you try to open Cubase with preferences disabled, please?
