I am using a Macbook (which is an issue in itself!!) and have just installed Cubase LE AI Elements 8. First time of use, seemed fine but now When I am importing audio into Cubase the sound is automatically muted. I have tried numerous ways to fix this, but nothing has worked. I am using the Scarlet 2i2 interface. Anyone got any suggestions?

If nothing in the project appears to be muted or soloed, I would in Cubase go to devices, device setup, VST Audio System. Make sure the scarlet driver is selected.
I would also go to devices then VST connections and make sure the right device ports are selected on the output tab and that nothing is saying not connected.
Done all this. Still nothing. I’m getting sound coming through from YouTube, iTunes etc. Just not in cubase.
