While I’m recording the sound is fine but as soon as I play it back it skip, crackles, drops out. I’m using a lexicon alpha, a xenyx 502 mic pre amp with phantom power and a audiotechnica AT4033 condenser mic. I don’t think it has anything to do with the recording devices. I’ve recording small tidbits without it skipping and dropping out but after the audio mixdown it begins to drop out mostly. With the mixdown played back on another computer it sounds fine. Now it’s just impossible to record because a single track is skipping constantly. Can it be my computers sound card? Or maybe there is something wrong with the OS? I know this may not have anything to do with cubase but no other tech support is helping me.
