Cubase LE5 keeps crashing - Asio driver problems?

Hello.

I am working on cubase LE 5(Original).
I have a fairly new basic but good system:

  • PC
  • Win 7 64 bits (original)
  • Intel G3258 3.2 GHz
  • 4 GB RAM

Cubase keeps crashing, especially when I try to switch between audio devices (All Asio).
From inside cubase “Device Setup” I see 3 ASIO drivers installed:

  1. ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver
  2. ASIO4ALL v2
  3. Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver

Usaully I use the ASIO4ALL v2.

Cubase crashes without notice in such frequency that I can’t work with it almost.
I checked the system performance when this happens and there seems to be NO PROBLEM with computer resources - CPU is aroun 10% and the RAM is around 1 GB (from 4 in total).

What is the problem?
How can I solve this?

how many programs you got installed on your system? did you´ve ever got any kind of virus-attacks from the internet?

The system is very light and meant to work with music software.
I have just some basic programs installed (Anti-virus, PDF reader, Sibelius) and usually when I work with Cubase it is the only program running.
I never had any virus attacks and most of the time the computer is not even physicly connected to the internet.
