I’ve created a workaround for my environment that involves temporarily muting the problematic MIDI message types via inserting a MIDI utility script.
It’s not the only way of solving the issue, but it’s a generic way that works for multiple connected hardware controllers simultaneously and adding a new controller would take only a few seconds.
