Cubase native on M2 Mac + Softube Console 1 + UAD Plugins

I’m considering getting an M2 Mac and a UAD Apollo audio interface. I’d like to continue using my Softube Console 1 and would like to know whether the Console 1 plugin in this combination is able to integrate the UAD mixing plugins.

The Console 1 plugin itself is available in a VST3 version and should therefore not pose a problem for a natively running Cubase. However, as far as I know, the Console 1 plugin accesses the VST2 DSP plugins of the Apollo interface. This raises the question of whether this also works on an M2 Mac, i.e. whether the Console 1 plugin can work as a kind of wrapper for the UAD DSP VST2 plugins, or whether Cubase running in native mode prevents access to the VST2 plugins.

Softube couldn’t answer my question (which is a bit disappointing). Does anyone have experience with this combination?

I can now close the topic myself, as Softube was fortunately able to answer my question in the end: “There are no known problems with using Console 1/VST3 and loading UAD-2 VST2 plug-ins into Console 1 on Apple Silicon. Cubase does not prevent us from loading the VST2 versions in Console 1.”
