Cubase not recording

Hi everyone,

I’m a total new-time user of Cubase. I have been having a fine time recording, until just recently. When I hit record, the metronome counts off, and then the cursor stays in place and though I can monitor myself and hear sound. Then nothing is actually recorded. No audio event box is even created. Just a black blank spot where the audio information/box is supposed to turn up. I have verified that all VST connections are fine and connected. What’s happening?

And just in case you are wondering, I have made sure all of the normal solutions have been addressed. This is a seriously weird issue. Why won’t the cursor even move? Very frustrating.

Fixed it by reinstalling — :slight_smile:
