Cubase: "Open in Wavelab Pro 9" option crashed WL9 Pro

Hi!

So, Wavelab Pro 9.0.10 x64 and Cubase Pro 8.5.15 x64 , Windows 7 x64 SP1

Conditions is: Cubase and Wavelab - both opened. It working together without any issues… But after I process export audio file from Cubase with the checked option “Open in Wavelab Pro 9” Wavelab is crashed. Tried any different driver options with no luck, 100% crash. The same crash with Wavelab 9.0.0 :confused: When I tried export audio with closed Wavelab - then it opened immediately after export without this issue. What I can do with it?

It is possible for WaveLab to generate some proper diagnostics. Please do this:

  • Click on the File Tab
  • Now press Alternate and click on the Preferences button
  • Now press Alternate and click on the Global button
  • You can now see a tab called “Diagnostics”, at the right side.
    Click on it. then at the bottom of the page, check the button “Enble Crash Report”.

Now restart WaveLab. Then do the procedure that causes the problem you experiment.
This will create a crash log that is usable. This is what I need. Thanks.

I have some little addition to. WL9 crashes even with the unchecked “Open in Wavelab Pro 9” option. Immediately after the file export from Cubase.
