Cubase output configuration on a Mac Mini

Hello,

I have the version 15 Pro and I would like to know if it is possible (like in Logic Pro) to record through the external audio interface (Scarlett 2i2) and have the sound come out through the Mac Mini’s internal audio output, avoiding having to connect the external interface to the speakers or listening through headphones connected to the Scarlett.

When I am configuring the studio the input and the output everthintg is through the Scarlett.

Thank you so much in advance.

You should be able to set the Focusrite as input and the Mac speakers as output. I’m not at my Mac to check at the moment, but in the Studio Outputs area you should be able to add another Output and select the Mac speaker(s)

Yes, you can do this, but you’ll need to create an aggregate device in Audio Midi Setup since Cubase only allows for a single interface to be used for I/O.
