I’ve just joined the Cubase community. I’ve heard a lot of good comments about Cubase, so I’ve installed Cubase Elements 11 Trial on my PC (never used Cubase before).
My PC has the following configuration: Intel Core i7, 16Gb RAM, 64-bit Windows 10 Version 2004, Nvidia Geforce GTX (1920 x 1080), Hard disk free space – more than 500 Gb.
The problem is that the Cubase takes about 15 min to start, then bugs. Finally, I could not use it. I think the PC configuration is good enough. However, is there a problem on software level? I mean a conflict between Cubase and some other software installed on my PC.
Before to install the new driver, I have checked the website of Nvidia.
My card is a GEFORCE GTX 1050, which is no longer in stock.
The latest GTX studio driver I found is for GTX 1650. Driver Version: 461.92 - Release Date: 2021 March 17.
Do you think it’s going to work?
I have deleted the old NVIDIA driver and installed the new one 461.92 (just the video driver).
The same problem persists.
I have reinstalled Cubase Elements 11 Trial - nothing changed, the same problem.
I give up my friend, thanks for your time, sorry to disturb you.
I don’t have such file nor a directory.
However, I could generate a DMP file in the Task manager, selecting the Cubase application.
Only, the DMP file is very big, almost 1Gb. I don’t know if it would be possible to attach the file.
By the way, look what I’ve got after near 30 minuntes.
Finally, a directory CrashDumps has been created automatically.
I found a DMP file there, created just after the message I sent to you.
Here is this DMP file (only 567 Kb): Cubase Elements 11.0.10.321 64bit 2021.4.13 12.38.13.245.dmp (566.1 KB)
I’m waiting impatiently for your response.
Best regards
