Cubase Pro 10 - 30 day trial issue

Hi All
I have downloaded Cubase Pro 10.5 and I am trying to look at the DAW with the 30 day trial , before purchasing.
I have installed Cubase , and received the license code in my email
When I run the application, I enter the license I received and the application confirms that I have a 30 day trial.
When I click on to the next screen , a new window appears which says “no elicenser selectable - currently, there is no usb-elicenser connected to your computer, please connect a usb-elicenser to your computer”
Does any know how I can resolve this please?

For Cubase Pro you need the USB-eLicenser. Do you own one?

Hi Martin - I do not own one. How do I get one? Indeed, is there another version of cubase I can trial without the need for the usb-elicenser?

Hi,

You can buy USB-eLicenser from Steinberg online shop, or from a local dealer.

There is Cubase Elements Trial, which doesn’t require USB-eLicenser.
