Cubase freezes (keep sounding thou) when insert second or third plug-in in one solo channel. Happened with several plugins, mostly with Fabfilter. Tried start in Safe Mode, but nothing changed, still freezes when inserting plugins. Installed on Mac OS Sierra. Never happened before.

Cubase Elements 10.5.2 installed on windows 10 is doing the same thing.Mine randomly becomes unresponsive, music continue to play and every other function on my computer is fine. I have to End Task to and lose everything I was working on or Cubase will just remain unresponsive.
i don’t think its the number of plugins but rather which plugins. as it stands for me, 10.5.20 is freeze-crashing with waves, clearmountain, arturia soft synths and possibly Komplete kontrol.
